So Josh always says that I need to blog more and that I am really good at it. Well considering that it's been about 14 months since my last post I think it's time for and update. :)
We were married July 30, 2011, at the Historic Shelton church just outside of Ririe, ID. It was a gorgeous wedding and was the most blissful day. Lots of family and friends were there to support us in this new adventure.
We then went on a honeymoon to southern California where we stayed at a timeshare in San Diego. We went to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, The Safari Park, and tasted several new restaurants. We were even lucky enough to get some free desserts :) This is a picture of me petting a dolphin at Sea World.
We returned from our honeymoon and back into school we went. I am still studying to be a nurse and Josh is going to WGU for his accounting degree. The holidays went by really fast and so did my winter break. I graduated from Weber State University in April 2012 with an Associate of General Studies degree and should have my Associates of Health Sciences degree this December. My parents, grandparents, and Josh's parents were there to support me and it was such a good feeling to know that I have accomplished something and have something to show for my many years of hard work (and money).
My sister also graduated from high school in May and is currently attending CSI for Anthroplogy.
At the end of May we went on our annual camping trip. And yes we stayed in a tent, and yes it did rain, snow, thunder, lightening, hail, sleet, wind.... pretty much everything short of monsoon, tornado, and hurricane.
Summer rolled in bringing lots of heat with little relief and lots of wildfires. It seemed at one point 50%+ of the state was on fire. Fireworks were banned in some areas. We went to a park in North Ogden, UT and watched the fireworks display. It was a fun little display and reminds you small America. School started up again for me at the end of August and I have been going strong since. I am determined to get the best grades this semester and it's been tough. I am taking Statistics, Human Development, Pathophysiology, Pyschology, and I am a TA for a Human Physiology lab. It keeps me busy but luckily I have the best husband that allows me to focus on school while he works and goes to school. I love him and I am so lucky to have him in my life. My life would be so empty without him. Love you Joshua!!
